TAB Amateurs race day is an iconic event now in it’s 107th year. A great day of racing with 6 local races.
A fun day at the Ooralea Racetrack. Hire a private Marquee Trackside with all the trimmings or join in with our package options.
Canadian Club Trackside Marquee package gives you the whole deal, drinks, track location, food & bar.
Package deal also available in the air conditioned Champagne Bar with direct access to the grandstand so you can watch the races from above.
Sportsman Bar & Betting Ring open for general admission.
Feeling hungry? Order Cold Platters prepared by “Platterd Up” for collection on the day.
General Admission $20 on-line or $25 at the gate. Areas with food & beverages available from 11am. Concession $15. Kids are FREE.
Live music after the last race. Free buses at end of the day.

Mackay Cup Carnival

We’re getting the party started on Friday night with a Calcutta being hosted by Chris Round in the Sportsmans Bar at the Club starting at 6pm.
$30 Per Person
- Includes: nibbles/free drink on arrival and one Calcutta ticket
- Doors open 6pm for a 6.30pm start
- Cash bar and ATM available

Get your ticket to the air-conditioned Champagne Lounge Bar and enjoy the view of the races from above with direct access from your room to the grandstand. Or if you prefer, join in the fun at the Betting Ring Trackside Marquee.
Perhaps a table/seat in our function room is more to your liking… you get to enjoy reserved seating, a 2 course scrumptious lunch, 12 standard drinks, all the bells & whistles for a great day hosted by Chris Round.

Fashions on the Field events with great prizes, local live horse racing, FREE Photobooth midday-3pm, live music playing at the end of the day and then FREE buses to MOJOs from 5.00pm-7.30pm.
It’s the biggest day on the racing calendar and tickets for 2022 will be capped so book early to avoid disappointment.

Mid-Week Races
Come and join us for a relaxed afternoon of mid-week racing.
FREE ENTRY, all day catering, Bar, and TAB and Bookmaker available. Gates open 12 noon.

Are you a 100 Club Member, MTC Member, Owner, Trainer or Jockey wishing to attend any of our Race Days?
With COVID restrictions and attendance limits, we require all 100 Club Members, MTC Members, Owners, Trainers and Jockeys to pre-register with Events before each race meeting to secure your entry to Member’s Areas at Race Days, even if your entry is complimentary (excluding mid-week race meets). 100 Club Members and MTC Members also receive special member pricing on tickets for areas/packages outside Member’s area.
